One Stop for Ideas, Inspiration and Solutions

My interest in the world of interior design started in my teens with my love of sewing, I was always making things such as patchwork cushions and quilts and fabric collages which I used to sell at craft fairs. Like a lot of people my interest in interior design grew when I got married and we bought our first house. Each room we decorated I was determined to have or make something unusual to look at from every angle of the room, creating focal points as I did so. As our family grew childrens rooms added a new dimension to my hobby.  Once our family grew up and went to university and 'flew the nest' I had decorated, my husband encouraged me to take my hobby a step further to learn as much as possible in the field of interior design as I could. This resulted in a BA Hons in Interior Design with Technology from The London Metropolitan University which taught me how to visualize interiors to present to clients.  Work with Limited Editions (Haywards Heath) for five years followed and associate membership with BIID (British Institute of Interior Design). My own personal taste is quite eclectic and quirky but I work to the taste and style of the client.
